Thu, 09 Aug 2007 06:00:00 Wed, Aug 08, 2007 http://Shelly.fastrunningblog.com/blog-08-08-2007.html I didn't start my run until 10:00 a.m. STUPID.  I am sure it was at least 105 degrees.  I told myself just to run until I couldn't go on due to the heat.  I walked for a few minutes just to catch my breath.  I ran the post office route-which is somewhat up hill-not my favorite route. Wed, 08 Aug 2007 06:00:00 Mon, Aug 06, 2007 http://Shelly.fastrunningblog.com/blog-08-06-2007.html Well here it is the week of the big race.  I did not run on Saturday, because nobody came out of their houses.  I was out front at 5:30 am but nobody was there so I was lazy and went back to bed and just ran later at the gym-not the same as running the marathon course.  My run today was tough on me.  I woke up and started my run earlier to beat the heat, but it didn't help it was so hot.  I ran up to St. George Blvd, back down to 200 S. then over to River road down to 900 S. and then home.  When I got home I crawled back into bed, my foot was aching, I was hotter than H@#& and I was discouraged about the upcoming race.  Mon, 06 Aug 2007 06:00:00
